Reached 2nd largest foreign trade cargo in 2019

The containerized cargo handled at the Port of Shimizu in 2019 reached 557,400 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units). This is the 4th largest volume handled in total and 2nd largest volume in foreign trade since 1969.
